Supervision Roles:

We have a specific process in place for all Supervision vacancies:

All applicants will be asked to complete an online Financial Reasoning test. The test will be sent to you via an email from an external organisation called Mendas and will assess your financial analysis skills. You will be given full instructions on how to complete the test in the email from Mendas. Following this, your application will be reviewed and if successful you will be invited to an assessment centre - full details will be given when invited.

Please be aware that you have one opportunity to take this test and your result will be valid for 12 months regardless of the outcome of your application. You should also be aware that you are only able to be assessed for Supervision vacancies once within the same 12 month period.

New joiners in Supervision roles will attend an eight-week induction programme to help with the transition from your previous job to your future role as a Supervisor at the FSA. This explains the FSA's approach to regulation and helps you become productive and effective in your new role as soon as possible. It will also set out how the FSA operates and what we expect of you. The induction will involve some short assessments to ensure you can apply your new skills and knowledge in your new role.
